In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Data Science and Applied AI projects, products and platforms that seek to yield a significant business benefit, build our competitive advantage and help differentiate in the market through execution on innovation.

Perform Data Quality assessments on the Big Data environment
Cooperate and engage with stakeholders to understand Data quality project requirements
Develop metrics and reports supporting data quality initiatives
Develop SQL scripts to retrieve data from data warehouse applications like SSMS, Hive and Hadoop
Ability to lead the COE projects.
Plays an important role coordinating and delivering activities, programs, projects and services, relying on judgment gained from seasoned experience
Participate in Scrum teams and work in agile methodology on an ambitious strategic project
Collaborate with other teams in order to improve Data Quality (CI initiatives) within an organization
Trains and assists junior staff and troubleshoots issues referred upward or downward for a large portion of the job.
May work on assignments in multiple business or technical areas, applying technical depth and breadth of knowledge

Graduated/Post graduated in Insurance domain preferably
Working Experience of 2+ years as Data engineer or similar role
Advanced SQL skills with the good understanding of database structures
Intermediate knowledge of Informatica BDQ
Experience of working on HadoopBig data
Expert in MS office (Excel, word, power point, access, etc.) and other commonly used software
Excellent communication skills (fluency in English)
Must be an independent learner and quickly understands processes
Able to work within a team globally located and cross-functionally to achieve the goal
Detail Oriented, able to analyze and identify discrepancies.
Hands on experience of working in projects managed with Agile methodology
Good understanding of work done in Data governance, MDM and data integration etc.

Would be an asset:
Developing dashboards and scorecards (Power BI, Tableau, Micro strategy) experience
Having knowledge of data analysis in Python
Knowledge of new upcoming techniques/applications used for Data Quality assessment
