Responsible for building and supporting deployment automation of various Java-based microservices which is repeatable, efficient and cost-effective.Responsible for analyzing all deployment/infrastructure related issues across Engineering / Production environments and provide swift resolution.Participates in building efficient automation solutions that are resilient, fault tolerant and are upgraded with no downtime.Work with the Operations team to build production deployment processes & systems.Automating processes using Cloud Native solutions with the help of scripting languages (Shell/Python) and Google Cloud API’s.Have solid foundation in CI/CD concepts and well-versed with the pipeline to push changes to production.Participates in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards.Possess a keen eye to detail as well as excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills.Build and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teamsShould have hands on experience on Kubernetes platform on GCPShould have knowledge of Terraform and Helm chartsShould have understanding of Asset management preferably on GCP platformShould have experience on Jenkins
Qualifications
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with 3-5 years experience in DevOpsKnowledge of system deployment & management systems (Chef/Puppet/RightScale) and JenkinsSolid foundation skills with Linux CentOS / Ubuntu and ability to code in multiple languages (Shell Scripting / Python / Ruby)Development Tools – GIT(Stash), Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Gradle, GruntHands on experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Google Compute)Well versed with containerization techniques such as Docker/Kubernetes and knowledge of developing Terraform / Helm scriptsExposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology and experience with full SDLC including design, testing and deploymentTeam-oriented, meticulous, rigorous, attention to details, strong customer focusKnowledge to develop, deploy and manage applications with Kubernetes with Helm ChartsGood experience of developing CI/CD capability with JenkinsHave solid foundation in CI/CD concepts and well-versed with the pipeline to push changes to production.
