Driving outstanding digital customer experience is key to Optus’ digital roadmap. This role is to join our Agile Digital Tribe as a Senior Digital Business Analyst where you’ll work on digital and cross-business delivery projects working closely with the relevant Digital Product Owner.
The Senior Digital Business Analyst is responsible for the strategic digital platforms vision, guiding the implementation, while supporting Optus’ Sales and Service organization and its customers. To succeed in this role you will be a master of understanding complex integrated systems and product business rules, managing conflicting stakeholder objectives and working with technical teams to propose a solution design that satisfies the business need within system limitations, time and budget constraints. Our teams deliver in a fast-paced agile environment that requires a flexible and pragmatic approach to achieving results.
Key responsibilities:
Development of the Contact Centre AI platform requirements and contribution to the platform roadmap.
Gather requirements and re-engineering business processes which lead to the build of robust and scalable Digital Platforms.
Maintain and prioritise the feature backlog for development and delivery.
Partner with stakeholders and business SMEs to translate business requirements to commercially viable solutions delivering business value.
Drive and lead a cross-functional squad to achieve business and customer outcomes from both product and technology work
Align the various stakeholders’ differing interests and demands (business, technology, operations, risk etc.) ensuring priorities are met.
Represent the squad and participate in key Tribe ceremonies including QBR planning.
Weekly reporting on Platform Performance.
About you, you will have:
8+ years of BPM and/or CRM Business Analysis experience
Experience with requirements gathering, business process re-engineering, GAP Analysis, writing user stories and functional documentation
Exposure to a wide variety of customer service strategies and technical solutions
Demonstrated understanding of the online and app environment
The ability to work under pressure and manage numerous tasks
Strong communication and presentation skills
Good people skills and high levels of tenacity and enthusiasm
Strong influencing skills with the ability to liaise confidently and effectively with all levels within an organisation
A strong customer focus as well as a strong team player
