Job Description : JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To efficiently manage the treasury function, a Senior Financial Tech Lead performs a wide range of job duties and responsibilities. These may include but are not limited to:
Design and implement new features within the product such as trust minimized algorithmic computations, cryptocurrency staking, the aggregation of external data in various environments, etc
Manage the architectural vision for new functions and applications built on top of the blockchain
Conduct competitor analysis review of the crypto industry with senior management and shareholders on regular basis, updating the new opportunities to the founders
Research key crypto industry trends and developments and propose investment ideas in the cryptocurrency and NFT space
Assist in all aspects of deal execution including market and financial due diligence, structuring and contract negotiation Monitoring of portfolio companies and executing value creation plan
Develop and explore business opportunities in blockchain technology via social media and other platforms
Work closely with business associates to support exchange operations, i.e., liquidity monitoring, asset allocations, arbitrage activities, etc
Prepare daily fiat & crypto payment advice, weekly fiat & crypto position, and monthly fiat & crypto reporting
Work closely with fraud and compliance teams to execute a robust AML and KYC program related to crypto
Handle day-to-day cryptocurrency operations, including USD and coin settlement
Perform analysis of financial data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and inform strategic decision-making
Good understanding of major exchanges and trading rules
Source and select potential high-quality blockchain early value projects for in-depth research and analysis, including operating mechanisms, contract methods, statistical analysis of data on the chain, etc., output valuable opinions, and write related evaluation reports
Track, collect and analyze the current development of blockchain technology, researching the trends of all financial products in the market, including but not limited to industry trends, financial product principles, product models, product business data and product competition strategies, etc.;
Familiar with the laws and policies of various countries on blockchain technology
Assess and monitor key metrics of crypto projects and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership and campaign initiatives, recommend corrective actions if necessary
Ability to conduct in-depth research on growth potential ICO and Altcoins for investment

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

The more common skills and attributes that are most needed for this role may include:
Developer background with excellent knowledge about blockchain/crypto, security, and data protection methods
Good understanding of HTTP, web socket, and local storage and cache
Capable to transform multiple data from different sources to be used by the requirements planning system and ERP
Good understanding and huge enthusiasm about the crypto/digital asset space is preferable
Knowledge of Blockchain, Non-Fungible Token (NFT), Crypto, Telecommunications, Cloud Services, Market trends is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of existing blockchain projects
Good understanding and huge experience in foreign exchange, liquidity, cash flow, and various financial instruments
Good understanding of financial and blockchain markets

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or tech-related
Excellent foundation of active liquidity management in crypto finance or fintech
Can handle high pressure and a fast-paced work environment
Must be willing to work based on all-time zones when needed to cater to a potential international clientele
Must possess a hybrid set of skills in technology, communication, management, and leadership
Must have at least 3 years of experience working within the blockchain technology industry
Must have at least 3 years of experience in project management
Must have at least 3 years of experience in Software and Blockchain Development (Smart Contracts) and testing
Must have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript, Oracle, MS-SQL
Prior experience (at least 3 years) within financial services or crypto industry in treasury or control function roles is advantageous
Knowledge in Mobile App technology such as React Native will be an advantageous
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Min 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in statutory reporting/audit gained as an accountant or auditor
Knowledge or interests in blockchain and decentralized finance solutions
Good in numeracy and have strong analytical skills
A strong passion for cryptocurrencies and their surrounding ecosystems
