We are looking for strong, Senior Backed developers with hand-on experience in developing, leading and owning backend stack.

Our teams are in Bangalore, Silicon Valley and Plano. We build modern services and responsive web applications tailored to meet the needs of our Commercial Clients.
Senior Java Software Engineer in Digital Commercial Bank will work across a range of products and technologies. They will focus on modernizing stack, Internal & external cloud, building micro services and storing/sharing via Cassandra and Kafka, developing business logic and batch processing.
A Senior Java Software Engineer should be hands-on individual contributing developer with experience building enterprise level web applications across UI, services, and database. They should work at an expert level designing and implementing REST APIs. They should be experienced in working with API Gateways that adhere to data governance. They should have knowledge designing and querying both relational and NoSQL databases. Awareness of modern single page UI applications using OO JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. They would be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging applications at all layers but primarily in the services and database layers.
Responsibilities:
Participate in code reviews
Participate in design sessions with fellow programmers, business analysts, and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
Primarily, design and implement secure and robust REST APIs using technologies such as Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Deploy applications to Internal/External Cloud and possess Devops mindset.
Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision
Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing JPMorgan technologies and infrastructure
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
Current role should be a hands-on Individual contributor with capability to technically lead and mentor backend team members.
8-12 years of experience in IT industry with strong backend development experience
8-12 Years of strong core java hands-on Development experience
7+ years of experience writing enterprise level REST/SOAP services with Java Spring MVC or Spring Boot, ASP.Net, or NodeJS
Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB or Cassandra
Experience deploying applications to the cloud using AWS, Azure, or CloudFoundry
Familiarity with messaging frameworks like MQ and Kafka
Awareness of HTML5, CSS, OO JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks like Angular or React on enterprise sites is a plus.
Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies
Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and continuous delivery principles
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, plan, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
