American Express – The Analytics team of Travel & Lifestyle Services within DEA has grown significantly in the last few years. It provides significant analytical and reporting support to T&LS stakeholders in US and 23 international markets. The successful candidate will be part of Frontline Performance & Insights team within DEA Analytics team and will be primarily responsible for providing global reporting & analytics support to drive customer facing frontline performance.
Purpose of the Role:
The candidate will be part of Frontline Performance & Insights team within DEA Analytics. Support key performance indicator reporting processes for the TLS frontline teams. Focused on providing timely and accurate data support, frontline reports to enable performance insights and help drive automated solutions for the performance management team. Create a productive and collaborative stakeholder management environment.
Responsibilities:
Support frontline metric reporting process globally.
Generate and deliver best in class analytics and reporting solutions to support Performance Analytics, Monthly reporting process & also business transformation initiatives.
Create timely reports and support various adhoc requests from the key stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Frontline Operations & Performance Management teams to drive the frontline performance through analytics and actionable insights.
Candidate should have hands on experience of creating graphical user interface of reporting and dashboarding.
Candidate will also leverage information using different tools such as Tableau, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Cornerstone (Big Data) to create dashboards and drive insights.
Drive automation in the BAU processes.
Partner and collaborate with the capabilities team and other stakeholders and colleagues to implement models & develop capabilities that will help in more agile data framework

Past Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience working in a complex MIS & Business reporting environment.
Hands-On experience on creating Tableau Dashboards.
Strong working knowledge on MS-Excel, SQL / MySQL.
Knowledge of Hadoop or Hive would be an added advantage.
Experience in Customer Experience or the Travel Industry would be preferred
Academic Background:
Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering / Management / Computer Application
Technical Skills/Capabilities:
Strong working experience in SQL / SAS / Hadoop / Hive
Extensive Exposure to tools like MS Excel, VBA, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
Knowledge of Platforms:
Hadoop, Hive, SAS, SQL; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Big-Data / Cornerstone experience
