Job Description : Principal Product Manager: Nutanix Cloud Manager
The Principal PM will be primarily responsible for part of our Self-service focused management platform (Nutanix Calm), with a specific focus on a consumer grade and intuitive experience. This involves integrating deeply with multiple Nutanix products, as well as external public cloud and on-premise platforms with a modular, open approach to develop a single self-service and automation platform for our customers, including some of the world’s largest companies.
You will be a part of the product management team for the Nutanix Control Plane, reporting to the Sr Director PM and will be based out of Bangalore. Responsibilities
Help define the product strategy and roadmap for the unified control plane, and drive efforts across the the organization to ensure the delivery and availability of well integrated products
Own features across Nutanix Calm, and the tenancy constructs that extend across the entire control plane and their integration into multiple Nutanix products to form a seamless customer experience.
Document requirements for product features with input from UX, support, sales, engineering, and customers
Establish development priorities for the engineering team based on feedback from multiple stakeholders
Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering
Be an expert for the field with respect to the competition and the key technologies that differentiate the product
Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Sales to build technical presentations, documentation, and analysis as needed
Develop detailed understanding of customer use cases and deployment options
Mentors APMs/PMs and play an active role in hiring candidates
Job Qualifications
Prior Product Management experience in the Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure Management, Enterprise Automation or SaaS products space is highly desirable
5+ years of prior Product Management experience
Independently lead a Product line (a major area of a product offering)
Strong organisational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions with C-level executives.
Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
Demonstrated ability to understand and develop product strategy
Technical background with an engineering degree or equivalent
