Key Responsibilities

Design and teach labs & practice modules.
Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP).
Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry.
Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research.
Ensure safety in labs

Job Requirements

Have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline. Possessing a Masters or PhD degree will be advantageous.
Hands-on experience in 3D Modelling and VR/AR development. Familiar with Unity3D, 3D Max, Maya, Photoshop, Android Studio, XCode etc. Have a firm grasp of several programming languages such as C#, C++, Swift, Kotlin and web programming languages as well as development platforms for IOS and Android.
Demonstrate proficiency to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and pursue professional certification programs. Industrial certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.
Possess relevant certification (or equivalent training/experience) preferred (Unity Certified, Associate Android Developer etc)
Keen interest to support research and academic project work, with demonstrated ability in developing software solutions to technical problems.
Possess strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment.
Comfortable in participating software development in a team setting with good experience in agile development environment.
Experience in Data Analytics is advantageous.
At least 10 years working experience as software developer for AR/VR in game or mobile app or relevant experience, with good knowledge of industry practices and technological applications in the field.
