Job Description : Principal duties and responsibilities:
Software development towards building & extending our testing infrastructure
Planning and preparing testing setup
Developing and running automated tests
Performing manual QA as needed to maintain Agile development pace
Part of Agile team consisting of DEV & QA which is responsible for the upcoming releases
Actively participate in agile processes throughout the product development
Expand the QA capabilities, quality and efficiency
Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing
Knowledge, skills and qualifications –
Education: Bachelor in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Minimum years of work experience: 5+ years
Required skills:
Must have worked in automation rest assured API with Java programming
Strong Java programming knowledge
Experience of robot framework with python
Strong knowledge of web/http protocol
Strong Experience of Mobile testing
Knowledge of Android and iOS
Experience of Java, application logs troubleshooting on linux operating system
Should have excellent communication skills
Ability to carry out coordination activities with Onsite DEV/QA teams
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
Out of the box thinking, ability to test applications with thorough test coverage
Have a strong technical background and ability to learn complex products and testing methodologies quickly as well as strong and detail-oriented troubleshooting skills
Committed Team player and positive attitude
Preferred skills:
Strong testing concepts and knowledge of QA processes
Non-functional testing such as Security, Performance testing
Experience of using Agile based tools like Jira
CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
