This is your opportunity to join a small in-house team of passionate web developers as we extend and enhance our existing Rails app and transition our legacy sites to a new platform here at i-Motor.

Job Description
What you’ll do
As a passionate engineer you will be building great tools that will have an immediate impact on our large customer base. i-Motor builds, deploys and manages the largest number of web sites on behalf of motor vehicle dealerships and manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand.
Build and maintain the front-end and back-end of the main Ruby on Rails application that is used daily by our customers and team members.
Guide other Ruby on Rails developers to design and implement technical solutions.
Collaborate with UX/UI and product stakeholders to plan, scope and document project requirements.
Plan and implement engineering decisions to help scale up our application to help transition our legacy sites to a new platform.
Assist with quality control through code reviews.
Work closely with a small, but expanding, team of developers. Actively contribute to our ever improving workflow and developer experience.
Qualifications
What we are looking for?
Experience working in a small team of developers, building a “full-stack” Ruby on Rails web application.
Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with RSpec.
Experience working with Web API’s (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Experience with Git and GitHub.
Advantageous
Familiarity with a typical cloud hosting stack – AWS, Linux, MySQL.
Experience with or interest in any of Gatsby, React and GraphQL would be a bonus.
