Job Description : Dell Technologies Cloud and Container Native Systems Engineer

After detailed consultation with our customers and careful analysis, we develop the cloud strategies and solution proposals that support our customers strategic, operational and financial goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing field presales deep technical engineering and support for key opportunities at Dell Technologies across our APEX, Cloud and Container solutions portfolio.
Provide customer facing presales solutions architecture support to the Dell Technologies internal and field sales organizations and identify and design appropriate technologies to solve customer initiatives
Educate and align resources both internally and externally to launch offers from the Dell Technologies portfolio as it relates to our Cloud Solutions and build relationships with our technology partner organizations in order to assist with current initiatives and to identify new opportunities and Capture customer requirements to give feedback to Product Management and Engineering to refine our product strategy and capabilities.

Essential Requirements
12+ years of experience working as a sales engineer, consultant, solutions architect, presales or in a relevant role
Experience and knowledge of the technical sales process as a solution architect or equivalent role
Ability to manage opportunities, schedule the resources necessary to meet assigned business objectives and ability to produce technical documentation and diagrams for customer solutions and ability to present to and have technical and business discussions with engineers, directors and C-level executives and ability to present to and train both internal and external teams
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Willingness to travel up to 25-50%
Desirable Requirements
Practical experience in two or more of the following areas are required:
vSphere / vSAN / VCloud Portfolio (VCF / VMC), Network Virtualization and HyperScaler Clouds and associated MultiCloud solutions (Google Anthos, Azure Stack, AWS Outposts) and Container and PAAS Technologies
Kubernetes environments (on-prem or cloud); Strong Server, Network and Storage virtualization foundations and concepts and Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, ServiceNow or associated automation technologies
Positioning and selling “as-a-service” solutions
