Summary
The Legal Solutions team within Legal Services is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is an experienced C# developer with good MS-SQL Server DB programming skills.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our product capabilities as part of Legal Solutions team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned C# developer with experience on developing restful services and understanding DB systems; design schemas; writes intermediate to advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, user defined functions; conduct database trouble shooting to ensure their (databases) stability, reliability, and performance.
Qualification and Requirements :
Bachelors /Master’s Degree in Information Science or Computer Science required – B.Tech, MCA, MS Computers.
Essential Skills :
6+ years of relevant experience as a C# developer. (6 – 8 years range).
Ver strong experience in developing restful services.
Very strong in understanding database schemas and writing SQL queries to analyze how data is structured.
Strong experience in designing DB schemas, ability to analyze databases to identify DB design issues and optimize them for usage and performance.
Strong SQL Server skills for querying and creation of views/tables, functions and stored procedures, UDF and Triggers
Strong experience on T-SQL, Query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience working in Agile – Scrum methodology.
Must have experience in all phases of the Software Development Life cycle.
Proactive issue resolution with a positive attitude.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging existing database objects and improvise them.
Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice to have (profiles with following skills will have preference over the rest):
Experience in Snowflake DW is good to have – Create Snowflake Objects, Stage the Data Files, Copy Data into Target Table, Query the Loaded Data, Uploading Data from Snowflake, Sharing Data Securely in Snowflake.
Knowledge and basic experience in SSIS, SSRS, ADF.
Understanding of Legal Services domain is an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigating business systems from databases perspective, taking a holistic view of the situation, including key stakeholder needs as well as current processes and IT systems.
Working collaboratively internally to deliver chosen solutions.
Design, develop, and unit test software across the full .NET application stack.
Develop and maintain restful services.
Develop database schemas and tables.
Implement indexes and design the relationships and constraints between database tables.
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
Write intermediate to advanced queries for Snowflake DW.
Continuously evolve by learning new areas of SQL Server, Azure SQL and Snowflake as needed by the project.
Resolve technical issues for the team and mentor junior members to scale up on technology, design and implementation approaches.
Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
Should be highly motivated with a strong sense of commitment towards work.
