About the role

If you’d like to take your SEO career to the next level by taking the lead on Sportsbet’s Technical SEO strategy, then we’d love to hear from you! You’ll have our top tier SEO tech stack at your disposal to help shape strategy, track performance and build compelling stories and business cases for the various stakeholders across the business you’ll be working with closely to bring strategy to life. In addition to helping increase Sportsbet’s visibility in search engines, you’ll support the team in executing on our ASO strategy and ensuring Sportsbet remains Australia’s most downloaded betting app.

Reporting to the SEO manager you’ll have a deep understanding of all aspects of organic search. You’ll be passionate about search and its ever-changing nature seeing the challenge as opportunity for increased performance and an even better experience for our customers. Additionally, your growth mindset will see you constantly looking for new things to learn, experiments to run and ways to improve our strategy aligned processes.

Duties Include

High emphasis on improving SEO technical state of the website

Assist in creating and defining on going SEO strategy

Own & Drive technical improvement process for the website

Focus on ongoing improvements within the SEO – MarTech process to gain process efficiencies

Own and drive the external specialist agency partnerships to deliver great business outcomes

Own & Manage internal stakeholder collaboration to drive website fixes and enhancements

Drive SEO technical story telling across key internal stakeholders

Own Organic Reporting and drive continues improvements

About You

3+ Years SEO Agency or inhouse Experience

Experience working on enterprise level SEO projects

Experience in vendor management

Deep understanding of Technical and non-Technical SEO aspects

Ability to manage specialist vendor agencies to deliver against key objectives and strategy

Proficiency in using SEO Tools AHREFS/Botify/ BrightEdge

Project management tools such as JIRA

Working knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Drupal etc

Desirable

Experience with JavaScript of Python

Working knowledge of Power Bi or Tableau

Experience with web-performance optimization
