Job Description This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position supports and transforms existing and new mission critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications ýff spanning multiple technology stacks ýff through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and 3rd party suppliers from around the globe in a 24×7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment. Specifically, youýffll do the following: ýff Collaborate with customers and business teams to transform business requirements into functioning software ýff Work with business, architect, infrastructure, security, and other corporate teams to provide end to end solution and support for steady-state systems ýff Combine conceptual understanding with broad applied experience and provides seasoned technical expertise, high-level analytical, interpretative, evaluative, and/or constructive advice ýff Evaluate requirements and enhancements requests, and propose solutions with careful consideration of cost, impact, standards, and compatibility to with other systems ýff Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates, testing strategies, and work plans ýff Prepare, consolidate, and generate release notes that are audience appropriate ýff Apply advanced level understanding of current and future technology architecture and integrate this knowledge into design, problem solving, planning, and strategic technical roadmaps ýff Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software ýff Use critical thinking to frame complex issues/problems, develop multiple creative solution options, perform tradeoff analysis, identify impact of various alternative solutions and synthesize data to arrive at a recommended approach in support of making decisions and taking action ýff Perform thorough analysis and generate root-cause-analysis for any production incident ýff Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development ýff Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identifies and implements solution ýff Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups ýff Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently Required Qualifications ýff Bachelorýffs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training ýff 3 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments ýff 3 years of professional, design, and open-source experience ýff Proficiency in Full Stack Development ýff Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies: ýff J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB ýff Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate, Oracle, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning ýff Cloud-based development: Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies ýff Web Servers: Tomcat, tcServer, Websphere ýff Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML) ýff Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot ýff Front-end: Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, AJAX ýff Build/deployment tools: Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, Mockito ýff Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, Nexus Repository, Hygieia, SonarQube, Fortify on Demand, Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, New Relic ýff Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, JavaScript, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ, Tivoli Scheduler, SQL Developer, IDE ýff Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles ýff Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM ýff Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
