Job Description : Position: Social Media CoordinatorLocation: Bronx, NYCSalary: $60k-75kFast-Growing Food Distributor seeks a Social Media Coordinator to join their team!POSITION SUMMARYSocial Media Content Calendar ManagementManaging, developing and executing the social media content calendar across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram/Instagram Stories, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Blog) and brands (Baldor Specialty Foods, Urban Roots, Pierless Fish)Develop effective social campaigns for Baldor initiativesPlan the social monthly needs in the Social Media Content calendar and plannerContent & Asset CreationMaintain visual and conceptual brand consistency across multi-channel brand strategy for collections and brand initiatives and apply to all social/digital platformsBring innovative ideas from conceptualization to social media platforms for digital and social campaignsPartner with creative, merchandising, sales, procurement, marketing, and events leads to create social-first content.Manage the production process for all social media creative assets, including requesting assets, crafting creative briefs and video scripts, and collaborating with the Creative Manager on larger-scale video and image shootsCreate additional social photos & video using smartphone and in-app (e.g. Instagram, TikTok) camera and editing toolsPartnering with copywriters to create compelling content and writing copy as neededPaid Media & Influencer StrategyManage paid social initiatives from conception through execution phases in partnership with Digital Marketing AgencyDevelop and build out influencer programming and strong community engagement in partnership with PR AgencyAnalytics & ReportingTrack and report on relevant KPIs Monitor competitor and industry updates within the social landscape, and sharing with relevant team membersFeeding learnings back to the wider team and implementing them to optimize visuals and copyCommunity Management & Trend MonitoringDaily monitoring and response to follower and customer comments and DM’s in close partnership with the Sales and Merchandising teams.Encourage a dedicated and engaged brand community through comments and DMsTesting new, emerging features and trends on social media platformsMonitor competitive social landscape, market changes and developments; remain current on emerging industry and digital trends; provide highly strategic recommendationsUse secondary research methods to gain a deep understanding of the culture, sub-cultures, and consumer behaviors that are the driving forces behind both large and small trends or cultural momentsQUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience in social media marketingHigh-level and intuitive understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTokEstablished social media background including driving strategy for an innovative brandStrong collaborative and leadership skills for both internal and external business partnersExperience using digital media to build community as a primary objectiveStrong command of web and social analytics and reportingStrong digital writing, grammar & spelling skillsExtremely organized and possess a close attention to detailExperience with social media management and reporting tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Later, Iconosquare)Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Bronx, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Food industry: 1 year (Preferred)Social media management: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
