Job Description : Key Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for the architecture of a product suite, including SaaS products, desktop applications, and platform services.
Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to formulate the vision of the platform capabilities and drive transformation towards that vision.
Define standards for architecture, architectural documentation, and engineering best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to other engineering leaders and build working relationships with those across the organization.
Critically evaluate product suite to improve customer delight and minimize customer frustration.
Develop and maintain an architectural roadmap that aligns architecture standards with business needs.
Define initiatives to improve infrastructure, reduce technical debt, and minimize system complexity.
Stay current with the latest developments in technology and open-source frameworks.
Evangelize platform and product capabilities with internal departments as well as Litera partners and clients.
Attend Architecture Review Board meetings and participate in any associated review and governance processes.
Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations, e.g., GDPR, HIPAA.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in the software product industry in architecture roles, particularly with regard to high-performance, multi-tenant, enterprise applications.
8+ yrs. professional software development experience, working knowledge with managed and unmanaged programming languages (C++, .NET).
Working knowledge of object oriented design, patterns and practices.
Experience with architecture and development of SaaS platforms.
Extensive knowledge of application architecture patterns that help to developing highly distributed, low latency systems at enterprise scale.
Expertise with performance tuning, monitoring and measuring.
Thorough understanding of CI/CD, test automation, and build automation.
Extensive knowledge of security domain, standards, and industry trends.
Database development and design: MS SQL, MongoDB.
Strong interpersonal, documentation, presentation, and oral communication and the ability to communicate collaboratively in front of a whiteboard. An ability to understand your audience and adjust your communication style appropriately.
Proficiency with desktop, web and mobile technologies.
Proficiency with containers, container orchestration and cloud-native distributed systems.
Ability to build and deploy enterprise solutions in MS Azure, AWS, or other cloud technologies.
Deep understanding and experience with agile development practices, including full SDLC.
Willingness to take on additional responsibility to ensure team success and quality solutions.
Solid working knowledge of four or more of the following technologies: HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, React, ASP NET Core, SQL, EF, NoSQL DB, Azure Services.
English level – [Upper-Intermediate]
