Job Description : Software Developer job available in Islamabad for one of the leading Telecom Company. Candidates must be having bachelor degree in software development along with 5 years of relevant working experience in IPTV domain and in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming along with App development experience in Andriod and iOS.
For the Software Developer job role, the candidate should also have excellent programming skills, preferably in C/C++ or related frameworks on embedded systems and good knowledge about networking protocols and codecs.is to skillset for the web TV project.
Responsibilities:
Develops software solutions Andriod and iOS by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions for the web TV project.
To work in IPTV domain, IPTV middleware development.
Familiar with C/C++ or related frameworks and on embedded systems.
Hands-on experience in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming.
To work with networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IGMP PPP, SNMP, DHCP.
To read and understand technical specifications and documents. Knowledge about Linux Framebuffer/GTK+/DirectFB.
Investigates problem areas, troubleshooting, and system testing. To study codecs like H.264, MPEG-2, AAC.
Follows the software development lifecycle.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Skills:
Excellent programming skills, preferably in C/C++ or related frameworks, preferably on embedded systems.
Good knowledge about codecs like H.264, MPEG-2, AAC.
Good knowledge about networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IGMP PPP, SNMP, DHCP.
Knowledge about Linux Framebuffer/GTK+/DirectFB.
IPTV domain.
Good work in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming.
