Job Description : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Skilled in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, React, TypeScript), open-source technologies and frameworks.
Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development
Experience in back end technologies microservices (Java)

We are looking for Fresh College Graduate or Software Engineers with less than 1 year of experience in solving complex problems and implementing critical feature enhancements. We own customer facing services on the digital and physical textbook rental business. On the physical rentals space we own the Rentals By Amazon platform. In addition to the Textbook rentals space we have started work on a net new offering from Amazon in the EdTech space.

Experience building scalable and distributed applications
Experience building reusable UX components or libraries
Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Previous technical internship(s) preferred
