Job Description:
Ivanti’s Cloud Platform Team is looking for a team member to make an impact. This team is part of the SaaS operations and is responsible for design and implement cloud platform and infrastructure automation on AWS/Azure for Ivanti’s cloud product. As part of the team, you will have a chance to work on the latest technologies in cloud native and distributed systems including AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Fluentd, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka/Zookeeper, Spark.
Requirements:
Candidate must have solid programming skills in at least one modern language. Python, Ruby, or Golang is preferred. Java/Scala/Erlang can be considered as well.
Solid background in OS system level and networking level knowledge is required.
Some background in Kubernetes, or some experience in major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance on AWS/Azure, Kubernetes and managed cloud services, with Python, and/or Golang.
Build resilient and self-recovering systems to sustain any (cross regional) component failures through health check and automations (Kubernetes/ASG).
Build cost-saving automation on cloud (AWS/Azure) with workload metrics prediction and autoscaling.
Build automated Continuous Delivery pipeline that could be deployed in production without human intervention.
Automate private cloud infrastructure with Ansible and OpenShift (Kubernetes).
Working with SRE team to deploy and maintain cloud platform in production
