Our System Test team’s primary focus is to enable to build quality rich, reliable and enterprise grade software solutions.
About you:
As a Lead Engineer of the test team, will be responsible for product system test activities within Software Solutions organization.
You will be responsible for develop and execute manual tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality.
You are required to work and collaborate with the development engineers to understand the technology, features in depth, fixes details before testing them.
You should ensure quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in defect tracking system.
Responsibilities:
As part of scrum member, understand detailed feature requirements and Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of software assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project
Develops and tests documentation which describes the specific software functionality.
Runs software tests designed by more experienced engineers.
Reviews test results and perform root cause analyses to identify problems
Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards
Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity
Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems
Integrate, maintain, and operate gateway and lab hardware and software systems & solutions.
Adapt automation first approach for the test – to sustain speed and agility of scrum.
Accurately report the progress on features/stories to test lead.
Additional responsibilities will be
Mentoring, guiding, leading and developing emerging test engineers and specialists within the team
Influence product requirements & system test suits while working with product managers, system engineers & other work partners during requirements and Planning cycles.
Meet with customers, partners, product managers and business leaders to present findings, predictions, foresights; Capture customer specific requirements of business problems/processes.
Help build self-sustaining stronger System & Solution Test team.

B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, ECE.
5 to 8 years of experience with proven track record as test engineer at product-based companies.
Android knowledge is a must.
Experienced in functional and performance testing of android devices.
Experienced in E2E solution and performance testing involving web, device & cloud functions
Hands-on experience in test automation using python/java/robot framework.
Having google cloud platform test experience is an added advantage.
VOIP Specific Skill Set
Hands-on experience Execution, Analysis, Regression and Test Automation of Voice over IP Products and Solutions.
Minimum of 2+ year of VoIP protocol (SIP) testing experience is required. Cisco Call Manager / CUCM or any other PBX hands-on experience is highly desirable.
Good understanding of VOIP protocol/Standards – SIP, ISUP, CAP, MAP, INAP, MGCP, SS7, ISDN, IMS •Installing network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers.
