The Role

We are looking for highly talented and dedicated Software Engineers/Programmers who thrive in fast paced, ever changing development environments. We are looking for an experienced server software engineer for developing services to support the live operations and online gameplay for our titles. You will be working in small teams that work closely together to create solutions for game requirements using modern technologies and frameworks deployed to cloud based infrastructure. You will also be working with many existing systems; some developed at iToys, some developed externally.

Here’s how your day would look like:
Responsible for development of highload, massively scalable, highly available services

Implement security best practices to keep user data secure and prevent cheating

Work with designers, engineering, and production teams to achieve goals

Apply server deployment and troubleshooting strategies that maximize uptime

Who fits the bill:
Knowledge of Java 11 (Multi-threading, Non-blocking IO, CompletableFuture)

Technical/Hands-on experience building large scale web/game services

Experience in design and implementation of gRPC and/or RESTful API

Experience in Spring Framework (Beans configuration with annotations, Security, Spring Boot)

Experience with NoSQL DBs (DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB) and/or SQL (MySQL, Postgresql) and caches (Memcached or Redis)

Experience in containers like Docker and deploying code to cloud platforms like AWS, Google or private cloud

Understanding of stable change management practices in a live service environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify and resolve problems in highly complex systems

Highly motivated self-starter; capable of operating with autonomy

Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in C++ and UE4 game engine

Experience in game related cloud services (AWS GameLift, Playfab, Nakama)

Bonus Skills:
Building Front-end applications with React or AngularJS

Building serverless applications(Lambda, Serverless, AWS Amplify)

Infrastructure management with Terraform/CloudFormation/Puppet

Experience in any of C#/Kotin/Go/Python
