WMDM team supports Asset & Wealth Management Line of Business providing document management capabilities for AWM business globally. The team is currently hiring Developers to join the CDS Services scrum team , this individual will be responsible for development and support across a suite of Document services like document search, full text search, composition, storage, distribution etc.
Responsibilities include:

Liaising with business users and other technology teams to identify, assess and document business user stories and support issues.
Problem solving production issues and implementing appropriate solutions, with a view to improving code quality.
Designing and executing clean and progressively enhanced code that reflects the architectural direction.
Undertaking development with modularity in mind to accommodate shifting priorities.
Participating in project scoping and planning, writing technical documentation
Documenting test strategies, ensuring that requirements documents/user stories can be easily translated into test scripts, and ensuring the testing plans are fully completed.
Desirable skills/experience

4+ years` experience in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
Experience in Java development and frameworks like spring boot.
Experience in cloud, Kubernetes etc.
Experience with middleware/messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS and Kafka. Exposure to event-driven design patterns.
Experience in UI frameworks like Angular, React, Bootstrap etc.
Experience in Python and Machine Learning
Experience in databases (Oracle, Sybase etc.)
Experience in search engines like ElasticSearch Solr, lucene etc.
Experience of continuous delivery and DevOps tooling
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Experience of investigating production issues
Experience in the financial services industry or Document Management
Experience developing integration with vendor products.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems.
