Job Description : We are looking for passionate and hardworking Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Embedded QA group. This position will be part of a multifaceted crew that test and maintains the quality of sophisticated computing systems that power innovative embedded products used in domains like Artificial Intelligence, Retail, healthcare, Media, AI, Finance. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and implement exploratory and automated tests to ensure embedded systems SW/HW stack meet high standards of quality.
As a member of this core team, you will be working with highly hardworking and motivated engineers. This role will also require to frequently interact with module leads & release managers. What you’ll be doing:
Design and implement tests on embedded systems and components.
Create test strategy, detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on high level customer requirement.
Identify, record, document, and regress internal and external filed bugs.
Participate in reviews of product feature requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
Working closely with various team including project management, hardware, and software developers, provide technical analysis of the Top Bugs filed and periodically publish statistical data reports to all stake-holders
Application development, test tools and automation using NVIDIA Test framework.
What we need to see:
B.Tech. or Equivalent degree in CS/CE/IT/ECE/EEE.
At least 2+ years of professional experience in Embedded Software Validation preferably in the field of speech engines like ASR, NLP and TTS on AI-powered platforms.
Excellent programming skills in python should be able to design and code from scratch
Good experience in Multimedia, viz. how audio decode and encode works from headset side as well as device side, the impact of the encoding parameter like bitrate, sample rate, compression techniques and noise.
Good debugging skills. Able to understand different logs and the root cause of the issue.
Experience with Linux Ubuntu/RHEL is required.
Experience to use Configuration Management tools (Git, Perforce) and Agile scrum tools (JIRA, JAMA).
Ability to self-manage, show leadership, good analytical skill and communicate well.
Should be an excellent teammate, with passion for new technology/trends.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Any certification course on Machine learning.
Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms like AWS, NVIDIA GPU Cloud.
Shall have worked on deployment and debugging of application using docker and Kubernetes.
