Solution Architect – R&D Business Development
As a System Architect and R&D business development planner in the field for residential/non-residential solution, you lead in delivering state-of-the-art technologies relevant to well-being and sustainability of tomorrow through R&D activities and consulting activities.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will be responsible to:
1. Solution Formation & Consulting
a) Lead primary role as business development planner in the strategic planning process for clients or organizations through planning, developing, and implementing strategies for all facets of business operations, including budgeting, administration, production, personnel, sales, logistics and maintenance.
b) Planning activities for system solution to realize regional business with partners based on investigated result for optimizing solution contents in order to solve customer’s business issue effectively.
c) Create project proposals and presentations for business development through analysis of technology & solution seeds, customer needs (customer benefit), market trend, product line up, business pipelines in several field and segments.
d) Lead discussion with other partners & stakeholders to finalize business scheme and business model. Furthermore, take primary role as business consultant for proposing business scheme to clients and partners and develop business in APAC region.
e) Has a primary role for organizing meeting against management side including head quarter (Japan, APAC head quarter) and sales division of each region to report projects’ progress, and manage project progress as leader
f) Attend exhibitions and conferences for survey and marketing purpose.
2. Project Management
a) Lead project management through planning, estimation, analysis, identification of integration points, technical risks & mitigation, POC, POB, assigning members and conducting quality management process.
b) Lead review activities through organizing and managing review team and review all contents of the project to ensure quality for deliverable of the project, and planning milestone schedule and contents
c) Report summarized review report to management side, including head quarter in both of APAC and Japan
d) Regular technical coordination, risk management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
e) Make proposal material, design document and planning & conduct relevant activity on system / architecture through discussion with customers. And review result with project members.
f) Manage development team members, testing team members and QA team members as project manager
3. Technical Design and Review
a) Analyze, Define, Prepare and implement requirement and technical specification for any kinds of IoT related solutions IoT HW/SW planning, testing, and commercialization with team members
b) Be the subject matter expert and the point of contact in cloud providers (AWS, MS Azure, GCP) system planning and deployment with both local and regional stakeholders to ensure contractual agreements are met.
c) Develop, manage and review execute test plans to check technical performance of infrastructure and report findings. Make recommendations for improvement. Develop policies for standardizing systems.
d) Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers & participate in user research and testing activities.
Requirements:
1. Degree
a) Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information System or equivalent professional experience
2. Business Development experiences
a) Expert for consulting business scheme and model based on investigation/marketing and technical analysis
b) Great proficient for using business consulting tool for analyzing business model
c) Has a great deal of experiences for managing business development project with other stake holders, and sufficient experiences for organizing meeting to formulate business scheme with stake holders.
3. IoT System Development & Architecture design skills for Server/Client application
a) Minimum 10 years of IT experience with over 5 years in leading technical solutioning.
b) Has minimally 5 years’ experiences related to IoT System with server/client applications including mobile apps in designing/implementation/consulting of large-scale private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure/on-premises solutions.
c) Experiences with complex IT infrastructure architecture planning (including networking), design and implementation.
d) Professional certifications in the following areas is preferable, AWS (Solutions Architect Professional, Security Speciality), Azure (Solutions Architect Expert, Security Engineer Associate) with at least 2 years ~ of implementation experience in either of the AWS/Azure.
e) Excellent understanding of UI/UX design for the Web, mobile, or touch devices and app development for both of Android and iOS.
f) Has wide knowledge for software and hardware for IoT edge devices.
4. Project management with Requirement Analysis & Review experiences
a) Great proficiency for analyzing system requirements through investigation, marketing and hearing from customer, and summarizing it as proposal for requirements.
b) Has a great experiences for SQA process following to CMMI
c) Great experiences for managing IoT System development team including management of task, members, resources, risk, review, milestone and outcome of the project
d) Expert for reviewing system architecture design and source code design with various languages such as python, PHP, C/C++ and other well-known languages
5. Development environment and Tool
a) Professional proficiency for project management tool such as Jira and Redmine and source code management tool such as Github/Gitlab/Git and Subversion.
6. General Technology Knowledge
a) Good knowledge in AI, Data science, cloud integration, API development, UI/UX, UML
b) Strong experience in SQL/Shell/Java/JavaScript/Python/C/C++ programming
7. Co-working
a) Experience leading, supporting, and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
b) Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to interact professionally with all levels of the organization including external collaborators and stakeholders.
