Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
In this role, you are responsible to work closely with the EUC Sales Specialist(s). You will understand customer’s requirements, discuss and brainstorm the design/plan and demonstrate the capabilities of our solutions to meet customer’s requirements.
Ultimately, customer satisfaction with our solutions and services is utmost.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Accelerate the sales, services, and adoption of VMware End-User Computing (EUC) solutions for Mobility, Desktop & App Virtualization and Identity in ANZ, working closely with our Sales Specialist to our customers directly or via our Partners.
Support and work closely with the ANZ EUC Sales Specialist & Customer Success Manager (CSM) through enablement, joint engagement, promoting teamwork and development of appropriate contents to share with the communities, our customers and prospects
Maintain proficiency in VMware products and solutions, service offerings, value propositions in the EUC space and representative case studies
Build advanced expertise and assist in the enablement and development of expertise in the regional field teams and VMware Partners, in “Anywhere Workspace” through joint engagements and mentoring.
Pioneer the development of emerging Intellectual Property (IP) such as architecture, product integration, technical sales methodology, solutions/services and harvest and disseminate “Best Practice” knowledge and IP in collaboration with the Business Unit.
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The hiring manager for this role is Sze Lun Chew (Chew), Senior Manager, End User Computing, Australia & New Zealand. Chew is working closely with the Sales team to drive net new business, with the Customer Success team to ensure adoption and our Professional Services and our Global Support Services team to make sure deployment and Support runs well to have a happy customers.
Chew does not work alone, he has a great team working along side. The team is very diverse in terms of individual backgrounds, experience and type of roles within the team itself. It is a great opportunity to learn, collaborate and co-create with others and be part of a small community together delivering ambitious and future critical business outcomes.
Where is this role located?
The location of this role is flexible within a distance from either Brisbane or Perth. Work will be done from the VMware office (Brisbane) on some days during a week and other days from anywhere.
