Job Description : Job descriptionRoles and Responsibility: * Develop strategies to Improve availability and utilization of MS SQL Servers environment* Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.* Manage MS SQL server databasesExperience Required: * Overall 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Optimization and Management* Experience / Knowledge of Azure / AWS* Experience in T-SQL like writing Stored Procedures, Creation of Triggers, UDFs , CTEs ,analyzing Scripts and giving Performance improvement recommendations*Hands-on experience with Database designing with normalization concepts.* Experience in configuring SQL Server Full text Catalogs/Indexes. Creating Indexes for enhancing the Performance when required* Experience in SQL Server Performance tuning (Server level, Database Level) and in Query tuning through Execution Plan* Experience in analyzing the server performance using Performance Counters and preparing Performance Analysis Reports for troubleshooting Disk, CPU and Memory bottlenecks* Experience in configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server (Full, Diff & Log), File and File group Backups, Piecemeal restore, and Database Refreshment from Production to Test/Development environment* Experience in Partitioning the Data using Partition functions and Partition schemasExperience in configuring and Managing Resource Governor* Experience in Installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting of MS SQL 2005, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 & 2016 and applying Service Packs* Experience in handling large size production Databases around 10 TB and providing 24/7 Production support for Servers and Databases* Experience in configuring and managing SQL Server High-availability data solutions Log shipping, Database Mirroring and Replication* Experience in configuring and managing both Windows & SQL Server Clustering* Experience in SQL Server High Availability Solution Always ON* Experience in truncation of Log File, Shrinking Database/file activities, Configuring Database mail, Automation of alerts for Database Blocks, Tracking Databases growth, Moving the Database files/Error Log files from one drive to other drive, Recycling Error log filesJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹1,000,000.00 – ₹1,800,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Flexible shiftSupplemental Pay:Joining bonusExperience:MS SQL server databases: 1 year (Preferred)
