Job Description

We are looking for a skilled developer to join our product development team. In this role, you would be responsible for developing mobile applications or SDK using native Android Frameworks (Java/Kotlin) and cross platform technologies (Xamarin).

As a Mobile Application Developer, you would be responsible

Working on cutting edge communication technologies – NFC, BLE & upcoming UWB
Understand user requirements, design and develop application and SDKs that meet real world scenarios.
Comply with industry best practices for implementation and technical architecture standards.
Collaborate with product owner and product management to understand and define the overall product vision.
Collaborate with other developers throughout the development process.
Collaborate with global development and hardware engineering team to integrate API and firmware
Produce detailed functional and technical software application document for scalable applications or SDKs for customers.
Establish and drive best practices for maximum code reuse, testability, performance, reliability, manageability and security.
Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development and user experiences.
Assist with product incident(bug) response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solution.
Build and maintain an automated DevOps delivery/deployment model using AppCenter to enable continuous updates and release cycles for the applications.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in mobile application development
Strong knowledge of OOPS and intermediate knowledge of front-end GUI design and development.
Android SDK and Java/Kotlin programming, Advanced apps development on Android phones/tablets
Knowledge of Android GUI, Camera, GPS API, Services and SQLite database.
Experience working with third party libraries and APIs
Knowledge and experience with socket programming, device communication & protocol buffers.
Knowledge and experience working with Bluetooth Programming (BLE) & NFC.
Knowledge of deploying apps to play store & app store is a plus.
Understanding of Google’s and apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Knowledge and experience working with Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket
Required to have good communication skills

Nice to have

Working knowledge of Host Card Emulation (HCE) & Contactless RFID based cards
Knowledge and experience with cross platform (Xamarin..) & iOS Native
Experience in C/C++ and Android NDK is a plus
