Job Description : What’s the role?:
Work as the Sr UI developer who is part of the team developing complex web components contributing to a design system for platform experience tribe.
You will also be part of and responsible for Real’s portal through which the HERE customers will create their own private Maps.
Your work with other HERE UI developers and UX designers to agree on the standards within your community of practice.
You will follow the HERE way of working, when it comes to the working practices, and the HERE design guidelines, when it comes to the visual outlook.
You will work closely with product managers and engineers to design, implement, test and continually improve performant front-end running in a cloud platform.
Develop products using agile methods and tools.
Develop commercial grade software that is user friendly and suitable for global audience.
Plan, create and execute (manual and automated) tests for web application.
Support production issues as part of on-call rotation schedule for entire development team.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews of your work and the work of your peer engineers.
Participate in architecture and design efforts.
Work side by side with your scrum team to deliver high quality software on time.
Who are you?:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years software development experience building scalable commercial web applications.
Experience working with HTML5, SASS, LESS, CSS3, ES6, Typescript and NodeJS.
Good knowledge on Responsive layout concepts
Working knowledge of REST API integration in web application.
Familiar with how to translate UX design wireframes into pixel perfect web applications.
Experience in fixing performance issues on UI
You know frameworks such as React, Vue
Familiarity with modern web application tools such as npm, git, webpack, ESLint .
Familiarity with any test frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress.
Experience with agile software development methods.
Effective communication skills.
Experience with Linux shell, git/Gitlab, Jenkins and continuous integration/continuous deployment.
