7+ years of people management experience.
5+ years of development experience in C or C++.

As the Manager of the Systems group in Ring Devices, you will be responsible for leading a world class team of engineers in developing Ring products used by millions of our neighbors.

Key responsibilities:

Ownership of the overall systems development life cycle.
Execution against project plans and timely delivery of committed results.
Building, enhancing and maintaining a best-in-class engineering team.
Working closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical designs.
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience in Security Engineering, supporting engineering projects from concepts to delivery.
Experience in building and developing a strong systems team with subject matter experts in diverse areas in IOT.
System architecture knowledge and experience with high volume designs. Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Hardware and System architecture design for consumer devices with connectivity technologies (WiFi, BLE)
Low power or battery power systems design.
Camera and CV technologies.
Audio systems
Video streaming
Embedded system design
Experience in working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM vendors in product development
Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Proven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
