Job Description
The Lazada Design Studio is looking for an outstanding UX and UI designer for all our App and web based experiences. You will be responsible for the end to end design and implementation – from research, design, innovation, and prototypes of new user experiences that pave the way for the future of commerce in a way that has never been done before.

Candidates should possess exceptional design skills, a great sense of aesthetics, as well as a clear demonstration in user-centred design principles and practices. The applicant must have an affinity for minimalist design, typography, and have the attention to the smallest of details. A strong ability to distil complex problems into simple, elegant solutions is key to success at Lazada. We are a fast-paced company with an entrepreneurial spirit, you would be expected to work well with ambiguity, deliver results, and have a collaborative attitude to bring original, innovative, and creative experiences as well as solutions that work in the real world.

Deliverables include but not limited to design mock-ups, prototypes, production of visual assets, process design and development, and follow-up for proper implementation. The candidate will collaborate with interaction designers, software engineers, and project managers and be a key if not primary contributor and originator in their own right.
You will be based in Singapore and collaborate with the global teams, working on the most advanced e-commerce in existence today and tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of UX design to develop mock-ups, new interaction models, and navigation schemes.Analyze the business and user needs, and transforming them into corresponding design ideas and solutions.Co-create and participate in design-driven exploration and innovation.Cooperate with the product, operation team and development team to follow up the implementation and landing effect of the design planCreate differentiated design value and innovation opportunities through data mining and customer insights
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience creating world-class experiences for web, mobile or devices. Design agency/management consultant in related business also preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or evidence of exceptional ability.
An excellent portfolio showcasing UX/UI and visual design work with a strong graphic design sensibility that creates business impactAbility to communicate design concept ideas through sketches, prototypes and wireframes.Strong desire to change and challenge status quo, ask the right questions and make things happen
Must be proficient and highly skilled in Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design tools.Excellent verbal and written English skills, EU or the US overseas work/study experience is highly preferred.
