Job Title: Staff Network Engineer
Department & Team: R&D/COGS – Platform Engineering – Cloud OPS
Reports to: Manager – Network Systems Engineer
Location: Virtual Office (India)
Key Responsibilities:
You are going to work in a highly dynamic and technical environment with relentless focus on delivering Remarkable Customer Experience.
You will be part of an engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives.
Design, install, configure, implement, maintain and troubleshoot different types of network Products and its infrastructure.
Support firewall devices such as ASA, Palo Alto and VPN technologies including Client SSL VPN and Site to Site VPN.
Architecting solutions in AWS, Azure & Hybrid cloud environment.
Perform Network Audits & implement changes per requirements to maintain the network healthy and security compliant.
Must be able to follow processes, the team’s best practices and checklists diligently
Follow ITSM processes for making any changes to network, after obtaining approvals from authorities.
Reviewing & Creating run books for well-known issues.
Participates in a global on-call rotation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Min 8+ years of experience in Networking and Security solutions.
Hands-on experience in global network architecture including WAN/LAN/DMZ, VLAN
In-depth knowledge of Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), Switching environment.
Strong experience in datacenter architecture, performance tuning and F5 load-balancers.
Installation, configuration and very strong troubleshooting experience in Cisco devices.
Strong knowledge of Firewalls such as Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASAs and other similar technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure automation using Terraform and CI/CD tool kit with Github Action.
Strong experience with Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in Network monitoring processes and tools setup/automation (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty, Netscout, ThousandEyes, etc)
Good knowledge of securing and hardening networks and devices
Perform network maintenance and patch upgrades.
Be able to work independently, Team player, Pragmatic and solution driven.
Positive attitude, pro-active in addressing issues, problem solver, have an analytical mind, skills and diagnostic skills.
Should be self-driven and capable of learning new technical skills independently
