Minimum Qualification – Graduate (B.Tech)
Relevant Experience – 3+ years
Responsibilites:
Provide L2 support for team deliverables.
Configuration, allocation, and management of centralized storage systems and other deployed storage solutions
Help develop or engineer new solutions related to data storage and access
Help setup of new storage technologies – tapeless, cloud storage etc.
Be able to take care of most of P2/P3/P4 tasks and document the RCCA.
Interacting with client over calls and provide details and reasoning of the deliverables.
Troubleshooting experience and ability to fulfill L2 support
Good knowledge on multiple Backup and Storage Systems like:
o Netbackup, Backupexc, Avamar, Veem, Dell Networker etc
o EMC, Netapp, Oracle Storage appliences, IBM SAN. etc.
Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of various storage systems
Experience with capacity planning and storage allocation forecasting
Experience in storage Operations management, backup systems, SAN, NAS, DR
Working knowledge of systems from major data storage vendors and cloud services
Working knowledge of technical aspects of storage systems – including but not limited to DAS, NAS, Fiber Channel, RAID config, LUN Masking
Scripting
Good knowledge in Windows and Unix OS
Working Knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V.
