We’re looking for a IT support analyst to:

support the Service & Product Manager across several technical domainsensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality standardcontribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services
define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvementsmaintain a knowledge database
Your team
You’ll be working in the Investment Banking Operations team within UBS’s Application Support team in Pune, India We provide Application Support covers both front-office and back-office functions. The Team is chartered with ensuring stability of the production environment and is the gatekeeper that ensures that only properly tested and planned changes are implemented. Globally, the team is split into two groups; 1. Application Support group and 2) the Service Transition Team that provides Change and Release planning, deployment, and post implementation verification.

As an IT Support Analyst you’ll play an important role in supporting highly critical back office functions such as settlement and confirmations, regulatory reporting, collateral valuations for various products within Investment Banking portfolio.
Your expertise
9+ years with an Investment Bank or financial institution working for a Level 2 support team.solid Linux / Unix skills, Shell or Perl scripting experience and understand Autosys and MQ/EMS technologiesSolid hands on working experience on Oracle/Sybase database and scripting.Understanding of Cloud Technology. Knowledge of DevOps, Microsoft Azure and migrations would be a bonus.Functional knowledge of Securities, Collateral, Derivatives, FXMM and regulatory reporting applications and technologiesSolid understanding of Post Trade Securities settlement flows , life cycles , market cut-offs etc.,Good working experience on ETL Informatica workflows.solid stakeholder management and relationship skillsa continuous improvement mindset with proven success in this areaa complete understanding of the ITIL Service Framework (incident, problem, release and event managementproficient with software development tools, such as JIRA, GitHubNatural ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinkingtrack record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partnersconfident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiencescapable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
