Precisely is currently seeking a technical and/or development consultant. This role is an integral part of the Global Data Analytics team-supporting the set up and implementation of client data analytics systems across North America, EMEA and APAC. This is an evolving role and will enable the right candidates to expand their technical knowledge base and develop related skill sets.
Responsibilities:
You will:
Design and Develop Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Governance, Single view of Customer solutions using Precisely’ s Products.
Translate business requirements into real world applications.
Proactively provide consultative services to client base with regards to implementation and application of a potentially wide range of products and services.
Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels across the enterprise.
Responsible for projects of low-moderate size/complexity, and work along with Senior/Principal Technical Consultants on larger and more complex projects.
Design/enhance applications based upon functional specifications. Document business and technical processes.
Manage one off data extraction and report requests.
Learn and become proficient with Precisely products including but not limited to the Spectrum Technology Platform.
Ensures that relevant technical standards are established and utilized by the consulting team to maximize quality of delivery.
Qualifications:
You Have:
4-6 years of Consulting Experience.
BE (CS)/BE (IT), MCA or equivalent.
Proficiency in Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Governance, ETL tools etc.
Knowledge of OOPs concepts and thorough understanding of Java 8 features and fundamentals.
Proficiency in one or more database MS SQL/ORACLE etc.
Proficiency in one or more scripting language (Python, Perl, VB, Batch, PowerShell etc.).
Professionalism: Conduct themselves in a professional manner appropriate for the Client Setting.
Analytical Skills: synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data; identify data relationships and dependencies; design workflows and procedures.
Communications: have the ability to express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form; exhibit good listening and comprehension skills; keep others adequately informed; have sufficient interpersonal skills for working directly with clients.
Preferred Requirements:
Domain knowledge in Big Data Platforms e.g. Hadoop, Cloudera will be an added advantage.
Domain knowledge on Cloud Service Providers like AWS, AZURE, GCP will be an added advantage.
Knowledge on Kafka and Snowflake would be added advantage.
Knowledge of Financial/Insurance domain would be added advantage.
