As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional programs aimed at solving problems in cloud computing and pushing operations management.
You will work directly with Google’s physical supply chain, data center planning, and software engineering teams to design, deploy, and manage the systems that are used to optimize Google’s immense fleet of shared compute and storage resources.

Responsibilities
Support operations and analytic projects related to the allocation and forecasting of internal computing resources.
Support forecasting and repurposing of returned computing resources. Support subsequent operations and analytic projects related to supply chain management and capacity planning needs for computing resources.
Help in advancement of strategy, policy, and supporting tools for operations. Provide scripting/tool development as necessary.
Work with partner teams to manage, launch, and deliver projects related to data architecture and process re-design around demand and supply-side compute resource management.
Manage the business logic used to process forecast, align the needs of internal users with business efficiency goals. Partner with customers of shared fleet quota to understand resource provisioning needs, and understand patterns of resource returns working with software engineering team to diagnose and resolve systemic issues.
