Job Description : Position Overview:
The Technical Writer, Product will work within and outside of the Product team to drive the creation of a documentation methodology and framework, maintain proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency, plan, write, format and draft content and layout for the Product documentations such as technical reports, manuals, schematics and specifications. This role requires compiling information provided from the Product team members into technical and non-technical documentations targeting the documentation consumer.
Responsibilities:
Create documentation methodology and framework based on end user needs
Organize and write supporting documents for the endpoint platform and products
Work with Product teams, such as Product Management, Architecture, Software Development, Software Testing, to document product frameworks, requirements, specifications and other required documentation
Work with the other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Training, Business Development and Information Technology, to deliver required documentation
Create document flow diagrams
Develop and maintain user-training materials
Revise documents as new features are developed or issues arise
Support user requirements collection and analysis, as needed
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication or equivalent experience
Experience:
Some technical writing experience in Product or similar software setting
Proven track record of delivering high quality technical and non-technical documentation on time
Familiarity with IRT concepts and life science industry is highly desirable
Familiarity with SLDC, API, C#, .NET NVC, SQL Server is a plus
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Attentive listening skills
Able to simplify and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to navigate .NET Framework, C& Code and SQL Server for documenting processes and routines
Strong personal and time management skills
