Our Team ‍✈
The Product team helps turn the Finantier vision of an Open Finance platform into reality across Southeast Asia. Product managers and product designers on the team build the strategy and roadmap for our products based on obsessively listening to our customers and their end-users, prioritizing with rigour, creating beautiful product experiences, and then driving execution across our Tech teams and with our external partners. The team is responsible for clarifying the whys and whats for the products we are building, removing obstacles for our developers, testing product experiences with our users, working with our marketing and business development teams to launch solutions to market, tracking product success metrics and optimizing for customer delight, value and growth.
We are seeking a UX/UI Product Designer for our Open Finance products who is a self-starter. You thrive when working with great autonomy while knowing that you can rely on solid support from colleagues. This is a high-impact role where you get to invent a new type of user experience that has never been built before. You will get to figure out how to take brand new product experiences from zero to one and improve them iteratively as we grow. You will work with high-calibre colleagues across product management, engineering, data science and customer-facing teams, all committed to our mission to increase financial inclusion across Southeast Asia.
The Responsibilities
Bring deep empathy and be a tireless advocate for our clients needs and for improving the lives of their end-users
You can choose to specialize in User Research, UI Design or Design Systems; or be a practitioner across all three, there is great scope to sharpen the skills you wish to work on
Build ongoing user research programs that leverage the full range of research methodologies to bring us insight into our clients’ personas, their jobs to be done and what they value
Prototype, validate and build user experiences that are both simple and powerful, where our users are delighted to see the craft and attention to detail that goes into making and maintaining them
Build design systems in harmony with our corporate brand to accelerate development and ensure consistency across our product surfaces
Work hand-in-hand alongside product managers to build product strategy and requirements, help prioritize and sequence the roadmap
Partner with front-end engineering teams to both deliver in an agile way, and also to continuously improve how we work together, suggesting changes to processes, frameworks and tool we use
Know how to use data and product analytics to measure the strength of your designs during testing and when deployed live; work with our data teams to design experiments to iteratively improve product design and performance
Be an evangelist on the market for user-centric design of Open Finance systems that allow for broad participation so that the benefits of the technology can have the greatest impact
The Requirements
5 years of continuously-increasing responsibility in product design
A strong desire to have everything you do be grounded in solid user research and an empathetic customer-first mindset
A rich portfolio that shows your expertise across one or more of the disciplines of user research, UX, UI & visual design and design systems
You have an innate sense for what makes for an impactful user experience and a usable design; you have a healthy obsession with pixel-perfect details and immediately spot inconsistencies
Experience in technical software product companies that went through massive growth and served tens of millions of end-consumers, preferably for enterprise software and in financial services/fintech, ideally for products that combine both consumer, business and developer user personas
Solid analytical skills: know how to obtain and analyze quantitative and qualitative user research, measure how well your designs are working across a complex user journey, how to drill down into rich product analytics to diagnose issues and identify opportunities
Knowledge of how to work in a regulated industry is a plus
A high degree of creativity and enjoyment in finding solutions to hard problems that have never been solved before
