Job Description : Position Summary
Data Governance – Collibra Position is responsible for supporting the Data Governance Office (DGO) in the delivery of best-in-class methodologies for the design, implementation, and adoption of Data Governance Center – Collibra Platform. This position will be supporting the overall design, development, and service delivery by providing solution for end to end implementation of Collibra platform by partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Data Governance
Support Implementation of Data Governance Center Collibra in accordance with the data governance framework
Assist in Metadata management, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary and Data Lineage implementation
Design and implement operating model and Community/ domains in Collibra
Should onboard business and technical asset in Collibra
Monitor data governance metrics and SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds
Build workflow using Collibra Core API’s
Assist in establishing guidelines and protocols for effectively managing the data assets in Collibra.
Create Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) – Metamodels including assets, relationships, domains and communities
Design and Develop BPMN workflows in Eclipse and Activiti workbench.
Designs, implements, deploys, and configures custom and out of the box Collibra workflows to meet use cases and requirements
To combine technical expertise with advanced product experience to deliver complex solutions to solve business problems.
To support project management and stakeholders around the successful execution of design, development, and deployment tasks on project engagements.
To convert business requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the customer’s solution.
To act as a business analyst and technical services lead to coordinate the design and delivery of a solution.
To become the recognized leader in analyzing customer requirements and offering multiple, optimal architectural and technical solutions to business problems.
For the generation of new business by identifying opportunities in existing accounts.
Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or IT or other related field.
Experience
7+ Years of experience in Data Governance/ Data Management/ Quality Projects
3 years’ experience on Data Governance Center- Collibra
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
Demonstrate superior verbal communication and relationship building skills
Good knowledge of Collibra and Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project developing high-quality visual aid materials for senior management presentations
2+ years of experience with Collibra Development, Metadata Management, Data Quality methodologies
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management.
Experience with metamodel design
Familiarity with code repository and version control tools such as Bitbucket
Working knowledge to Build workflow using Collibra Core API’s
Good Exposure to Metadata management, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary and Data Lineage implementation
Design and implement operating model and Community/ domains in Collibra
Good Understanding of Collibra DGC platform
Experience in adopting best practices for Collibra Metamodel design.
Experience of working on Collibra Connect (Mulesoft) to communicate with various applications.
Groovy/Java Scripting Eclipse/Actviti Workflow Development Years of Solution Design Python Development Microsoft Macro Development Preferred
Good to have knowledge of BI and Dimensional Modelling is plus
Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)
Good to have Collibra Architect/ Steward/ Ranger Certification
SQL
Java, Groovy language experience
