SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven User Assistance Developer for the SAP UX Engineering Fiori elements and Suite Controls team. SAP Fiori elements provide a framework for the most common application patterns. The application team selects the relevant floorplan and adds semantic and structural data using metadata annotations. SAP Fiori elements ensure design consistency and compliance with the latest design guidelines while reducing the amount of frontend code needed to build SAP Fiori apps. THE ROLE
Writing product documentation for a variety of audiences such as developers and end-users
Creating multimedia content like images, infographics, videos, and blogs for your product area
Seeking feedback from customers and stakeholders to constantly improve the quality of deliverables
Collaborate with colleagues across locations on cross topics and complete documentation on time
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
B.Tech/B.E University degree, preferably certification in Technical Writing, IT, Business Studies or English with at least 4+ years of work experience
Strong writing skills in English.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and distill them down into digestible chunks.
You have an appreciation for the visual layout of content and a general understanding of design principles and methodology as well as relevant tools knowledge.
Excellent communication skills
Preferred skills:
Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under time pressure
Proactive, flexible, result-driven, with a “can-do” attitude
Previous experience, preferably in an international environment.
Experience with instructional design and/or social media and multimedia assets (for example blogs, how-to videos, or e-learning)
Experience with DITA and knowledge of topic-based writing
Technical knowledge on topics such as UI5, client-server technologies, databases, and/or XML
