Key Areas of Responsibility:
Creates, reviews and optimizes test designs, reusable test protocols, and test procedures to ensure complete functional and non-functional test coverage for multiple project and/or products concurrently.
Develops and conducts tests to verify functionality (performance, reliability, security, compliance) based on a risk-based strategy, against the design input requirements. Formally reports this.
Automation skills: Develops scripts for automation. Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
Has ownership of planning and timely execution.
Provides guidance and enables development in own team. Mentors junior staff within own team.
Stakeholder management within and beyond own team, e.g. functional managers, project manager, systems engineers/ development engineers, external test labs, customers.
Experience & Qualifications:
9-10 years in software testing and automation (Selenium, Java/python).
Experience in health care standards: DICOM/IHE/HL7.
Experience in Interoperability testing, strong in test design and testing concepts.
Experience in Interoperability workflow aspects in hospital.
Exposure to Regulatory requirements like FDA etc.
Exposure to Software Development Cycle.
Strong in troubleshooting, root cause identification and resolution.
Experience with Agile methodology, tools and practices.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills (multi site, cross culture).
