Job Description : Key responsibilities
Reviewing and elaborating stakeholder requirements. Working with Product Owners to shape the product direction, balancing what’s technically feasible and what is desired by the end user.
Implement solutions with an equal focus on both functional and non-functional requirements
Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and implement change. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving
Perform the technical delivery(front to back) – develop the changes requested and provide tested code.
Understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels.
Agree the schedule of delivery of the work with stakeholders and manage the demand from inception to production delivery.
As part of the wider team perform code reviews and ensure that we maintain the level of quality we are after as well as mentor more junior team members.
Employ Agile practices; Pair Programming; Continuous Integration; Test Driven Development, etc.
Technical Skills:
Strong hands on with minimum 3+ years of experience in Python
Knowledge on Flask and Django Frameworks.
Knowledge of database management systems, relational databases and SQL
Expertise in leveraging APIs, and security, authentication and data structures.
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Experience developing cloud native applications on platforms like CloudFoundry, Kubernetes and AWS
Experience with agile software delivery processes including practices like automated testing and CI/CD
Prior experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD)
Desirable:-
Experience of UI technologies such as React.
Prior experience with Banking Domain is not required but highly desirable
