About the Team:

The Role:
We are looking for a full-stack developer that can join one of our cross functional teams working on our customer facing website/web app and internal tools.
The ability to hit the ground running, develop a thorough understanding of our platform and quickly learn about its components & infrastructure will be essential.
Our main website and web application are currently separate systems but we would like to unify the experience for our customers and increase our mobile optimised pages significantly in 2022. This represents a significant investment in our web properties because we see significant potential for growth via this channel.
The internal tools are used by our customer service team to keep track of customer orders, as well as manage customer accounts and memberships. Additionally, it is used by our product and growth teams to upload content to our apps and to configure sales, promotions, and products.
Duties will include creating and implementing a user-friendly front-end UI, updating APIs where needed, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design. You will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organisational skills and attention to detail.
As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
Requirements
Familiarity with React/ Angular 8+ (or similar)
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS
Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other services used in the system
Experience with building infrastructure for serving front-end app and assets
Proficiency with server-side languages such as NodeJs / GoLang / PHP
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Experience with agile methodology, professional, precise communication skills .
Responsibilities:
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build a clean, user-friendly UI
Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Design and construction of our REST API
Develop and manage well-functioning databases
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write technical documentation
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
