Opened in 1688 as a coaching inn, the picturesque hotel combines warm British hospitality with modern comforts. Located in the countryside. The Bull is easily accessible by train or car.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Wedding and Events Manager to join our revenue team.
£500 REWARD – join us and you can receive a £250 Welcome Payment in months 2 and 6 of employment.
The Revenue team is key to our business as they are often the first point of contact many of our guests have with the Hotel. As a Wedding and Events Manager you will provide our guests with a personal reservations service for all types of meetings and events, large and small. As part of the team you will work both re-actively and proactively to sell the hotel and its facilities to potential guests. As Wedding & Events Manager you will have…
Ideally a Degree in Hospitality, Event Management or Tourism
At least 3 years experience in meeting & events co-ordination in a quality hotel with multiple meeting rooms
Telesales experience with both re-active and pro-active sales skills
Computer skills with experience of Event Management Diary and Opera
Previous room reservations experience
The ability to be self motivated with a passion for sales & achieving targets
To be a real people person and a good team player
Excellent attention to details and good administration skills
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with a professional manner
Flexibility as working pattern will be 5 days per week (normally Monday to Friday during office hours, however, occasional evening and weekend shifts will be required)
What will I be doing as Wedding and & Events Manager?
Dealing with and processing all enquiries for any conference and or function to be held within the Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring that clients needs are fully understood and met, whilst revenue & profits maximised
Ensure the team prepares all quotations, proposals and contracts according to clients’ requirements and the hotel standards, and there is a follow up after mailing to convert business
Communicating all clients’ needs through the publishing of weekly function sheets and amendments as appropriate providin
