Finance & Accounting: Organize and control the Finance & Accounts activities of the Unit to ensure compliance of financial systems & facilitate timely closing of company accounts
Periodically review books of accounts and financial reports and finalize Quarterly, Half Yearly & Yearly Balance Sheets, P & L and other compliances
For any significant changes in accounting & taxation structure, formulate & implement various SOPs to develop adequate internal control systems and ensure Corporate Governance and IFC Compliances
Explore innovative ideas and standardization with other units and value add in F&A system by sharing & adopting group best practices
Interact and coordinate with Auditors for finalization of Financial Statements and Cost Audit reports
Ensure timely preparation of accounts and review of general ledger/subsidiary ledgers, analysis of expenses and reconciliation
Monitor completion of all accounts
Working Capital Management: Effectively manage Working Capital in order to minimize interest cost
Review cash flow and supervise day to day fund management in coordination with Banks
Analyze Financial performance of customer and past performance and recommend fixation/revision Credit limit accordingly
Monitoring movement in Working Capital and recommend for necessary actions
MIS, Planning & Budgeting & Capex:
Ensure timely preparation of MIS, Financial, Planning & Budgeting, evaluation of Capex and other reports for effective & timely decision making by Management
Check, review & analyze MIS, MPR & Target reports
Coordinate with other functions and collect data for finalization of Budget for next 3 years during Planning & Budgeting exercise
Evaluate new Capex proposals and examine financial viability of the proposals
Project Accounting for New Projects/ Expansion
To convene Capex review meetings periodically to ensure timely completion of projects.
To prepare & analyze variance analysis reports & submit deviations to the Management for decision making
Monitoring power bidding through IEX and take corrective actions for savings in power rate.
Direct, Indirect Taxation and Commercial laws: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with various laws and explore and avail all Incentives and Tax benefits
Ensure timely & regular compliance of legal provision & procedure of Income tax, Custom & GST with proper tax planning, timely payment of utilities bill.
Conduct In-depth analysis of entire business process in order to avail all incentives and tax benefits available within legal frame work
Ensure compliance of export & Import procedures & availing benefit under EXIM policy
Represent company before various revenue officials (up to Commissioner level) in respect of adjudication & appeals relating to all taxes to protect company’s interest
Ensure Compliance of Company law matters, SEBI Guidelines & other various Govt. Statutory Provisions
Ensure timely & proper submission of Income tax detail, Corporate Governance Report, Audit Committee requirements, Investor presentation
Business Continuity Risk Management and Insurance: Timely preparation & coordinate review of various risks and prepare effective mitigation plans thereof and ensure full coverage of risk with minimum premium outgo
Preparation of Risk Management Register
Ensure timely & proper submission of details as required by Audit Committee and CFD
Recommend maximum coverage of risk by doing cost benefit analysis & negotiation with Private & Public Insurance Company for minimum premium
Ensure timely lodging of claim & assist in getting the claim settled without financial loss to Company
Process Improvement & Statutory Compliances: Ensure compliances of relevant statute of the Department as well as implementation of relevant CFD SOPs
Ensure deployment of relevant CFD SOPs
Ensure implementation of delegation manual
Ensure timely updating of cases in “ROZNAMA”
Ensure of timely updating of all Statutory compliances on “ENABLON”
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant
Minimum Experience Level:
15-16 Years
