Roles and Responsibilities
Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content
Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms
Driving traffic and engagement through content that translates to brand promotion
Managing a content marketing budget
Building a monthly content calendar and listing down the various topics to be written
Researching, writing, and getting the blogs reviewed and getting them published
Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to:
o Collaborating with social media manager, social media agencies on the best content approach
for such platforms
Collaborating with product, PMM, and business teams to source data based on content requirements
Collaborating with designer and creative teams for blog banners, infographics, and other design
requirements for all blogs to be published
Measuring the results of content marketing activities to build future marketing campaigns
o Tracking performance of all blogs on google analytics and improving on existing blogs
Implementing SEO best practices – Collaborating with SEO agency for keywords and topics for SEO blogs
Managing content agencies and provide them with blog topics to be written, review the work and
ensure content is published
Ensure that the quality of work delivered by agencies is of top quality
Improving merchant engagement through content marketing through various initiatives such as
newsletters, cross-selling mailers, new product release brochures etc.
Track competition blogs/ content closely and ensure there is parity in content created
Content you will create –
Product based blogs
Payment’s landscape related blogs / Payment trends related blogs
Engineering and technical blogs (in collaboration with the relevant team)
White papers/ Thought Leadership articles
Case Studies/ Success stories
Learn Blogs – These are more generic blogs that are beyond payments for e.g. How to start an e-com
business, Business related – Marketing, Finance (in collaboration with the content agency)
Other blogs – Employee stories, Press releases-based blogs, blogs for major events
Skills & Qualification Required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering (technical background to help in writing engineering/
technical blogs is a plus)
Experience with online community building.
Data-driven and highly analytical.
Proficiency with Google Analytics.
Proficiency with social media analytics.
Time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
