Job Description : HP Indigo data team is growing and looking for new stars to join our team!
The data architect will lead define the strategic structure and technological changes that will enable Indigo to become modern data driven organization.
Responsibilities
Technically lead the creation of HP Indigo’s future data platform.
Design robust, scalable data infrastructure to support business requirements and growth.
Promote best practices coding, test driven development & DataOps standards.
Technically Mentor & inspire the team.
Work closely with development scrums to understand infrastructure needs.
Rebuild & lead a team of DataOps engineers.
Work as Part of a global team.
Work closely with all relevant Data organizations at HP
Requirements:
Experience in various data platforms – Minimum 6 years
Experience with cloud based big data platforms
Experience with ETL pipelines / data engineering – SSIS + Informatica advantage
Excellent knowledge of SQL.
Python experience
Experience with Tableau or Power BI
Managerial experience – advantage
Certified scrum master / Agile methodology – Advantage
Experience with Jira and confluence– Advantage
Ability to simply explain complex concepts
Self-motivated and independent learner.
Excellent communication and people skills
Team player
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
