What you’ll be doing…
You will be responsible for translating user requirements and developing end to end applications.
Architecting and Designing solutions to leverage Google Cloud products such as Cloud Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/ Sub, Cloud Big Table
Working on medium to complex Hadoop eco system technologies. Should be strong in Python, Scala, Spark, Hive, NiFi and OOZIE.
Building applications by following coding standards, building appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts.
Collaborating with leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities.
Contributing to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
Where you’ll be working:
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for…
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience in Python, Scala, Spark, Cloud Big Query and Dataflow.
Even better to have:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong database querying skills using advanced SQL/procedures on MySQL/Oracle.
Knowledge in Cloudera, Tableau and Looker will be an add-on.
