Responsibilities:
Manage a team of highly skilled individuals to deliver high quality, high integrity, high performing, innovative solutions. Build a mature practice.Identify, evaluate and suggest new technology opportunities that is value-driven for platform enablement and also act as key differentiators for any offerings in WAM/BCM space.Define and develop cognitive solutions/services for business needs, incorporating technologies in Cloud, Analytics and BI.Facilitate and encourage the necessary conversations between the Business and Technology to determine the what and the how of the product features.Work with Technology and business partners in identifying process improvement areas and bring in the culture of automation.Organize, lead and facilitate multiple teams on highly complex, cross-functional, data and analytics initiatives.Collaborate with business, architects to translate business requirements into scalable solution options and provide inputs to product roadmap/strategy.Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development phases, lead & participate in architecture discussions, code review etc., and review the completed
work effectively.
Keep the team motivated and carry positive attitude, resolve any conflictsCreate roadmap, design and implement solutions to migrate legacy systems to next gen solutions.Partner with product management and business leaders to drive agile delivery of both existing and new offerings.
Requirements:
History of minimum 8-10 years in consulting industry with large-scale customers or enterprises; experience with digitalization and consumerization is a strong plus.Crisp and effective executive communication skills, including significant experience presenting cross-functionally and across all levels.Startup mindset with experience in managing big teams, self-driven to take up additional responsibilities and accountabilityProvide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation
of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed
Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and
includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM
(Instant Messaging), and regular interpersonal communication.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.Excellent organizational management skills.

Functional Requirements
Good knowledge and understanding of financial instruments and exposure to banking/WAM domains, Exposure to US based asset management or fund administration firm will
be an addon.
Experience with Regulatory Reporting is mandatory.Experience in Fund Reporting, Fund Regulations,Maintain current knowledge of relevant BCM / WAM regulations, including proposed and final rules.Manage activities such as reporting production process, regulatory updates and product updatesGeneral understanding on one of US GAAP, mutual fund regulatory is a plus.Experience on financial statement analysis, KPI/KRA metric definition and analysisExposure to Fund administration will be a plus
Technical Requirements
Strong command and hands-on experience of data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, major BI platforms.Should have hands-on experience/ expertise in managing the implementation of end-to-end platform initiatives and a good understanding of web applications.Should have strong application/product development background and have good understanding of Agile practices.Demonstrable experience in Big Data tools namely Hadoop, PySpark, Sqoop, Hive, Cassandra etc., Data wrangling tools namely Trifacta and Visualization tools namely Power BI.Hands-on experience on cloud technologies viz., Microsoft Azure, AWS.Should have a solid understanding of infrastructure that supports the product/tools/technologies and should drive discussions requiring infrastructure set up for any requirement.Exposure to front end applications and post trade management applications will be an addonExperience with Axiom/ WKFS/ Vermeg tools will be a big plus.Experience on data science initiatives a big plus.
Academic Requirements:
BTech/ BE – MandatoryPost-graduation in Finance /MBA – MandatoryChartered Accountant / CS/CFA certification will be a add on.
