Your team
Enterprise Procurement & Partnership (EPP) team supports Group Enterprise Services to deliver leading practice IT procurement.
EPP manages all activities across the procurement lifecycle, namely:
Requirements gathering & strategy – identify opportunities to add value to the business
Understand business strategy
Understand competitors, major market players and the market
Implement demand management
Develop and execute category strategy
Execution & negotiation – establish the best commercial deals for CBA
Establish sourcing strategy
Target best commercial outcome managing risk
Negotiate effectively to achieve sustainable commercial results
Implement & transition
Implement with the business to ensure take up and benefit realisation
Execute using leading practice tools
Performance & governance – ensure maximum value is created from our external relationships
Manage supplier performance
Explore opportunities to drive productivity and value
Ongoing management of risk
Deliver insights based reporting to the business
Your impact & contribution
As Manager, Analytics & Insights, you will be part of the newly restructured EPP team. This role is responsible for providing supplier category reporting, analysis and advice to EPP Category teams, Sourcing Hub and other internal customers.
EPP delivers benefits and mitigates risk to enable our customers to achieve their business goals. We do this through applying specialist knowledge across the procurement lifecycle.
The role reports directly to the Senior Manager of A&I and is responsible for managing the Analytics & Insights team.
Your Role:
Insights and Analytics
· Support the digitisation of the experience for EPP, Stakeholders and Suppliers from traditional reporting model
· Provide supplier category reporting, analysis and advice including:
o Spend analysis, benefits modelling, price modelling and benchmarking (including TCO)
o Performance data and analysis
o Market data and insights (competitor research, industry standards leading practice)
· Sourcing commercial support and advice in line with category strategies
· Support the timely activity related to analysing and reporting
o Category supply market analysis in detail including leading practice and technology trends
o Spend analysis, demand drivers and demand management strategies
o Supplier performance standard reporting
o Risk and appropriate risk KPI’s
o Support negotiation tactics and strategies with accurate and insightful data
· Take a ‘whole of Group’ view to everything we do and champion the value of a Group-wide strategy where we believe it can add additional value to the organisation
· Identify metrics, tools, strategies and processes to optimise procurement and continually drive productivity
· Support management reporting such as EPP ES Operational Performance, EGM and Supplier Briefing Packs to senior leadership team (e.g. CPO/EGM/CIO)
Leadership
· Interact directly with the EPP,ES and BU Leadership Team to develop, manage and execute IT procurement strategy
· Advocate compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology
· Champion ETPP across the business, supplier network and industry network
Risk Management
· Ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of risk and risk processes
· Support processes and governance reporting to address all aspects of risk
Your experience
Experience in IT supplier commercial / financial management
Strong numerical, analytical, and PC skills.
Strong SQL and modelling skills.
Strong Alteryx and Tableau development skills
Experience in GDW, Big Data environments
Experience in:
supplier performance management
supplier research and analytics
Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
Solid interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, as one team
Ability to work collaboratively with customers and suppliers
Ability to think laterally and develop new and innovative solutions to problems
Capability in procurement related risk management
