QA Engineer
Johnson Controls Digital Solutions is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a knowledge on Cloud and building technologies including BMS, VMS, Access Control etc. As a member of the Customer Success organization the QA Engineer will help provide value by delivering a product or a solution which meets customer expectations and helps in increasing efficiency in their day to day activities

Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing into the test strategy, defining critical QA success factors
Accountable for documenting test cases and maintaining traceability
Accountable for executing various types of testing within the defined timeline
Drive defects to resolution in a timely manner
Accountable for maintaining both manual and automation regression test beds
Accountable to meet the performance matrix driven by defect density post go live
Ability to consume and communicate complex processes into tangible and actionable items
Participate and contribute to the creation and on-going review of training materials
Ability to demo the user journeys as needed to the customer
Information Security Responsibilities

Adhere to JCI policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets.
Adhere to JCI product security standards and guidelines for secured software product development.
The software, licenses, shall be deployed and used only in accordance with JCI licensing agreements.
Unless provided in the applicable license, notice, or agreement, copyrighted software shall not be duplicated, except for backup and archival purposes.
Any software that is acquired illegally or does not have a valid license shall not be deployed or used. Copying of third party materials without an appropriate license is prohibited.
The employees, contractors or third-party personnel shall not copy, extract or reproduce in any way, copyrighted material from the Internet on information systems provided by organization, other than permitted by copyright law.
Implement appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
All employees, contractors and third parties shall be responsible to report all information security incidents, alerts, warnings and suspected vulnerabilities, in a timely manner, and share such information only with authorized personnel.
Basic Qualifications
6-8 years’ experience as a manual tester with clear understanding of basic QA concepts and various types of testing
4-6 years’ experience as automation tester and able to reach positive automation ROI within first year
Ability to articulate end to end complex business processes
Experienced in IoT domain and familiar with API/backend testing
Experienced in mobile app testing in both android or iOS devices
Knowledge of HVAC or Industrial Control systems
Knowledgeable in building technologies e.g., BMS, VMS, ACS, Fire and Lighting
Experience in Java, JS, Selenium, Appium is a plus for automation development
Experience in testing bot including various utterance combinations is a plus
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Ability to handle multiple priorities in an energizing and fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies
